Hot wax is a lot less painful than traditional waxing. Our therapists are highly trained and experienced which will make your waxing experience swift and as painless as possible.

You can still come for a wax if you are having your period.  You should exfoliate before a wax and arrive fresh & clean wipes are available to all clients. You will need 4 weeks growth or 5mm of hair for successful treatment.

Redness, bumps and some tenderness can be normal reactions to waxing however most clients don’t even feel like they have been waxed once the treatment is finished. Regular 4-6 weekly appointments are best unless advised otherwise by your therapist and dependant on your rate of hair growth.

The answer is Yes. We have waxed many pregnant ladies the whole way through their pregnancy. Your session my take a little longer the further along you get as our expert therapists will be making sure you and your bump are as comfortable as possible. Once you get to the point where you can’t see over your bump waxing is the perfect option. Having a hair free area is also the perfect prep for the birth, making stitching easier if you’ve had a cesarean section or episiotomy, Many clients have come in for waxes the day before c-section and inductions are scheduled to rule out the risk of being shaved.

We are happy for you to arrive early for your appointment, this will give you time to unwind have a flick though our magazines and grab a refreshment before your treatment.

We realise that life gets in the way sometimes and you may struggle to make your exact appointment time. We will always try our best to accommodate late appointments but may have to reduce your treatment time slightly in order to be on time for our next client. Arriving too late may forfeit your appointment.

All appointments are made in good faith but kindly understand that if you forget or cancel your appointment without giving us enough notice, we lose out on the chance to fill that appointment slot and our clients miss out the chance to enjoy our treatments. If you can not make your slot and need to rearrange or cancel please give us 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so will incur a 50% cost. Missed appointments will be charged at 100% treatment cost.

You will be asked to fill in a confidential form on your 1st visit to Surrey Beauty Therapy. Periodically you may be asked to check and update this form, please do remember to keep us updated with any changes to your health and medication.  This will ensure our records are kept up to date.
All client details are kept secure and protected by data protection legislation.

We will require your full name, email address and a contact telephone number at the time of booking. You will also be asked for a 50% deposit if it is your first booking with Surrey Beauty Therapy. This is non-refundable and required to secure your first appointment slot or if your booking is more than 90 minutes.
