FAQs on Spray Tanning

How do I prepare for my spray tan?

Wax, shave, exfoliate at least 24 hours prior to treatment. Please bring loose dark clothing, sandal or flip flops for after your treatment. Do not use any other self tanning products one week prior to your spray tan. On the day of your tan, do not wear any beauty products, oils or lotions.

What should I do immediately after my tan?

Wear loose clothing. Keep skin dry, avoid contact with liquids. Avoid activities that make your perspire. Do not apply any products over the developing tan. Allow at least 8 hours for the tan to develop.

After your tan has developed?

Rinse off the remaining colour guide with water, then a mild soap. Avoid products that contain AHA's. Use moisturiser to help maintain your tan. Chlorine will fade your tan, so avoid swimming pools.

What colour will my tan be?

We use different strengths of spray tan solution to meet your tanning needs so you will always achieve the best effect for you. Every client is different and we can advise you if you are unsure which colour to choose.

How long will my tan last?

Spray tans usually last around a week. As your dead skin cells start to shed your tan will start to fade, towards the end of the week we advise gently exfoliating so that your tan fades nice and evenly. If you use an oil free moisturiser and avoid swimming pools (chlorine), excessive exercise (sweating) this will help to prolong your tan.
